In line with the SKOON belief that you know your skin better than anyone, our chemist has formulated a non-abrasive sherbet of enzymes and clay to exfoliate build-up of dead skin cells and debris. This user-friendly method ensures you get the most out of the ingredients, since enzymes are only activated on use.

As we grow older the sloughing of dead skin cells becomes more difficult, resulting in skin that appears dull, thicker and less toned. Removing this build-up of dead, damaged cells is called exfoliation. The simplest form of exfoliation is accomplished by using a Muslin Cloth during cleansing.

More scientific – but still a completely natural way to exfoliate – is the use of proteolytic enzymes found in tropical fruit called Papain and Bromelain. The term "proteolytic" refers to an enzymatic reaction that digests dead protein material without harming living healthy cells. Unlike abrasive scrubs or other mechanical methods, proteolytic enzymes are selective and extremely unlikely to cause irritation.
