Love Your Skin Beautiful

Get Some Rest
How to not look tired? Avoid…being tired! Easier said than done, we know. Try to get seven to eight hours a night and your skin—including under-eye bags and dark rings —will look noticeably better. Sleep gives the kind of results that no product can.

Jump in the Shower
Taking a warm shower opens up your pores, so it’s the best place to wash your face. It’s also really good as a meditative stress buster. Give yourself an extra five minutes with the water running over your face and body, to simply relax.

Snack on Almonds
Almonds are your friend. The naturally sweet nut is a good source of omega-3s and vitamin E. Two things that keep skin cells plump and healthy.

Eat An Orange
Feel like you need a detox? Lemons and other citrus fruits offer liver and kidney support, and there’s a proven connection between healthy organs and healthy skin. Vitamin C-rich oranges might help prevent wrinkles, too.

Massage In Your Moisturiser
We really mean massage. Rather than dabbing on your face cream, use gentle pressure, massaging it into your skin in a circular motion. Do the same when you wash your face. This simple trick will get your circulation going. And, it feels so good.

Have Some Chocolate — Yes, Really
They say chocolate causes acne. But there’s no scientific proof of it. Dark chocolate is full of antioxidants that help protect the skin. Eating just a little, every now and then, will send good feelings to your brain.

Exercise
Another reason to go for a long, brisk walk or a run. A workout doesn’t just burn calories, it also helps supply oxygen and nutrients to your skin. If you prefer to dance or ride a bike to the shop, do whatever comes naturally. It’ll show in your face.

Get Hydrated
It really is important to drink 6 to 8 glasses a day. Of water, we mean. Hydration starts from the inside out. If you can’t stomach plain water, drink coconut water and do as Emma Watson does.

Like a Cup of Tea?
Your skin would. Stop your day and have a mug or green or white tea, both of which will do a good thing for your complexion. Besides hydrating skin cells, tea could also assist with anti-aging.

The Beauty of a Little Muslin Cloth
If your skin is looking dull, it might respond well to a little scrub-down. Use a square of muslin to slough off dead skin cells, and glowing skin will emerge. Do it no more than twice a week, to avoid irritation.

Go Bare – Or Wear Less Make-up
An easy way to de-stress your skin? Go easy on your makeup so your pores can be exposed to oxygen. If you don’t want to go completely makeup-less, try using just concealer, lip balm and mascara—even if only on the weekend.

Have a Glass of Wine
Did we just say that? Yes, we did. Red wine is full of antioxidants that’ll help keep your skin healthy and protect against free radicals, so have a glass. (Ok, we said a glass, as in one.)
