Sebum – your skin’s own natural moisturiser – consists of a mixture of wax, squalene, sterols, triglycerides and polar lipids.

Extracted from olives, Phytosqualan® is a hydrogenated form of squalene. Highly compatible with skin lipids, this lightweight emollient acts as a mild liquid vehicle to deliver topical Linoleic Acid (Vitamin F) to overactive skin. Studies have shown a deficiency of Linoleic Acid in the sebum of acne sufferers.

Results showed a 25% improvement in comedone (clogged ducts) size due to topical application of Linoleic Acid over a one month period.
